KAMUNTING, 5 April 2009: The authorities at the Kamunting detention centre decided this morning to send freed Hindraf duo R Kenghadharan and V Ganabatirau [to] their respective homes.
Ganabatirau’s wife B Buvaneswari was informed by an official at the centre at 10.30am of the decision to “see your husband in the house”.
She said the main concern of the authorities was the crowd of supporters and media that had been waiting since this morning, and that it could get out of control.
