KUALA LUMPUR, 29 April 2009: Former Umno Youth secretary Datuk Abdul Rauf Yusoh has been appointed the new Umno executive secretary effective yesterday.
Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor said in a statement today that the decision was made at the Umno Supreme Council meeting last Friday.
Abdul Rauf was the former head of the Bukit Bintang Umno Youth. He succeeds Brig Gen (Rtd) Datuk Husainay Hashim. — Bernama
