KUALA LUMPUR, 26 Oct 2009: Parti Keadilan Rakyat vice-president R Sivarasa said today he would soon bring to Parliament the missing key witness in Datuk VK Lingam‘s New Zealand trip with former chief justice Tun Eusoff Chin, to keep the case open.
The Subang Member of Parliament, however, refused to divulge the identity of the witness, saying only that he or she would be revealed soon.
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) had said it was unable to proceed with the investigation into the New Zealand trip because it could not locate the key witness. — Bernama

What will Sivarasa and his colleagues achieve by identifying and locating what they believe is a “key witness” in the Lingham case?
Sivarasa, by all accounts, appears to be a lawyer. An admitted practitioner of the Supreme Court of Malaysia.
It would be challenging, and I welcome the challenge, to discuss what offences Sivarasa believes Lingham has committed to warrant the attention he receives from Sivarasa and Anwar Ibrahim […].
Let Sivarasa identify the offences Lingham has committed and let him submit proof of his allegations.
I am not holding my breath for a response but ever the optimist I am, I believe Sivarasa may at least seek to redeem his reputation by providing a response to my challenge to him in this matter.
