KOTA BARU, 18 Sept 2008: The Magistrate’s Court here ordered blogger Syed Azidi Syed Aziz, or better known as Sheih “Kickdefella” to be remanded for two days beginning today.
Magistrate Tengku Amalin A’Ishah Putri Sultan Ismail Petra issued the order to enable police to investigate the 38-year-old under the Sedition Act.
Syed Azidi’s wife Bariah Ishak said her husband was picked up from their house in Demit, here at 5.05pm.
Syed Azidi is the Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat’s public relations officer.
He runs the blog Kickdefella and had once suggested that the Malaysian flag be flown upside down as a mark of protest. – Bernama
