KUALA LUMPUR, 19 Sept 2008: The Magistrate’s Court here today remanded until 5pm tomorrow blogger Syed Azidi Syed Aziz, or better known as Sheih “Kickdefella”, who was picked up under the Sedition Act in Kelantan two days ago.
Magistrate Fadzlin Suraya Mohd Suah issued the remand order on Syed Azidi, 38, who was picked up from his home in Demit, Kota Baru on 17 Sept.
He was initially remanded for two days from 18 Sept by the Magistrate’s Court in Kota Baru.
Syed Azidi is the Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat’s public relations officer.
He runs the blog Kickdefella and had once suggested that the Malaysian flag be flown upside down as a mark of protest. – Bernama
