KUCHING, 18 Feb 2009: A book that will analyse issues concerning the constitutional monarchy system in the country will be published and distributed next week.
Information Department Director-General Datuk Abdullah Morad said the book would try to address clearly the confusion about the constitutional monarchy system that was brought up following the political developments in Perak.
“The book is in the form of questions and answers,” he told reporters after closing a three-day Information Department Activity Reporting System Course, here today.
Abdullah said distribution of the books would begin next with the State Information Department being among the first recipients.
“The contents of the book include an explanation on the validity of the government formed in the context of the constitutional monarchy and based on the state constitution,” he said.
He hoped that the community would be able to have a better understanding of issues pertaining to the monarchy system with the distribution of the books.
Abdullah said the Information Department was now in the process of making preparations to face the Sarawak state election which must be held by 2011 at the latest. — Bernama

What the heck? This is subjudice. There is a case pending on the constitutionality of the new government. Is this an attempt to bypass the courts?
