The Longest Week Corrected on 25 Sept 2008 at 2:30pm
On 10 Sept 2008, in our Big Picture piece “The Longest Week”, we mistakenly captioned the number of non-Muslim BN component party Members of Parliament as PBB (Non-Muslim).
After an in-house detection of the mistake and a clarification with the author on the phone on 10 Sept at 11.30am, we were able to correct the factual error as follows:
The factual inaccuracy was a result of human error.
Raya and Roadkill Corrected on 25 Sept 2008 at 2pm
As a result of human error, we mistakenly listed the year of the bus accident as 2008 when it in fact happened in 2007. The mistake was spotted by the author of the piece after publication.
We regret the error.
Contesting the NUJ Corrected on 25 Sept 2008 at 1pm
We mistakenly spelt the name of the Sin Chew Daily journalist who was detained under the Internal Security Act as Tan Hoon Heng. It should be Tan Hoon Cheng.
