We inaccurately identified academician Dr Mavis Puthucheary as an associate senior fellow at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia’s Institute of Malaysian and International Studies.
In a comment on our site, she has pointed out that she is no longer associated with the institute.
We also accidentally attributed a comment made by Universiti Teknologi Mara’s law professor Dr Shad Saleem Faruqi to lawyer Shaikh Saleem.
We apologise for the errors.

The author erred in naming three condominiums in this original paragraph: “Thus far, the MBPJ has ordered extraordinary general meetings to re-elect the management committee for three condominiums – Armanee Condominium, Shang Villa Condominium and Amcorp Trade Centre.”
The author realises that it was wrong to name these three condos, which MBPJ ordered to have EGMs, within the context of his column. This is because the reasons they were asked to have an EGM were not because they had developer proxies within their management committees.
We regret the error.
