The weakness of COP15 (Corrected at 7:55pm, 20 Jan 2010)
Malaysia has pledged to, by 2020, cut its greenhouse gas emissions per unit GDP by 40% below 2005 levels, not just carbon dioxide emissions as originally published.
In addition, we originally wrote: The government has yet to consolidate its existing climate-related policies into a comprehensive National Climate Policy and a corresponding action plan. In fact, the cabinet passed a National Climate Change policy last December.
We apologise for the errors.
New Year resolutions for Malaysia (Corrected at 1:30pm, 19 Jan 2010)
The GST bill is likely to be passed this year, and not next year as originally published. We apologise for the error.
Allah debate #3 (Corrected at 1:01am, 16 Jan 2010)
We originally published the comic with the asterisk on an excerpt of the constitution. It was meant to be placed behind the next sentence to indicate it as a quote. We apologise for the error.
Najib’s options with Allah (Corrected at 7:25pm, 15 Jan 2010)
We had originally published that the cow-head protesters had demonstrated in front of a Hindu temple, when in fact they had demonstrated in front of the Selangor state secretariat. The error is regretted.
Allah can be discussed calmly (Corrected at 4:38pm, 12 Jan 2010)
We had originally published that the “Allah” forum was co-organised by the Free Public Forum, Persatuan Kebangsaan Pelajar Islam Malaysia, and the Kuala Lumpur Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall (KLSCAH). It was actually co-organised by the Free Public Forum, Persatuan Mahasiswa Islam Universiti Malaya, and the KLSCAH Youth. We apologise for the error.
