THE “Allah” controversy and subsequent arson attacks on churches are making local and international headlines, casting a dark pall on Malaysia.
In the face of this discord, a group of young people banded together in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, 9 Jan 2010, to spread a message of hope. They held placards that read “Everything’s gonna be alright”, and gave out flowers to passersby in the busy Golden Triangle district of Bukit Bintang.
While the turnout was small, the event demonstrated how peace-loving Malaysians, of all races and beliefs, are committed to not letting violence and intimidation dictate the way they live. All pics above are courtesy of Sheiko Reto.

Jah is the word for God in Rastafarian culture, so it should start with a capital letter.
