Keadilan Youth wants MACC to investigate Mohd Ali

March 18, 2009

MALACCA, 18 March 2009: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Youth today lodged a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) for it to investigate the alleged involvement of Malacca Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam in money politics.

Its head, Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Hakim, said action was needed as the issue   involved abuse of power and money politics, which was an offence.

This is not merely Umno’s internal issue but an offence committed by Mohd Ali under the MACC Act,” he told reporters outside the MACC office in Jalan Taming Sari, here.

Shamsul, who was accompanied by about 30 supporters, was however challenged by over 200 Umno supporters who gathered there at 2pm to express their support for Mohd Ali.

Police officers on duty managed to control the tense situation which almost caused a commotion.

Kota Melaka Umno division vice-chief, Shadan Othman, said PKR should not meddle in Umno’s internal affairs.

“We ask that PKR first solve its own internal problems,” he said. — Bernama

What do you expect of those blind supporters. Hoping to get money without having to work hard for it. That is what they only know.

For MACC to take action, fat chance! Kar Ki Lang (own people) where can take action one la! Keep dreaming.
