KUALA LUMPUR, 18 May 2009: Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon will hold discussions with all the ministers to further “fine-tune” their individual key performance indicator (KPI) soon.
As of today, all cabinet ministers had submitted their KPIs to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak, Koh said in a statement here today.
Koh said the KPIs would be reviewed by the prime minister who would later meet all the ministers individually together with him as the minister in charge of Unity and Performance Management.
Experts in performance management form both the public and private sectors would be assisting in the process, he said.
He is determined to fast track the process (formulating KPIs) in-line with the Prime Minister motto “One Malaysia; People First; Performance Now”.
“However, the process is not starting from scratch and we are drawing from the experience of previous efforts in improving delivery in the public and private sectors,” he said. — Bernama
