KUALA LUMPUR, 2 Feb 2009: The police will submit the investigation papers on the death of car theft suspect A Kugan to the Attorney-General’s chambers tomorrow, Selangor police chief Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar said today.
“The investigation papers sent last week lacked several crucial information and the police have improved them but I don’t want to say what additional information had been requested,” he told Bernama.
“If they (Attorney-General’s chambers) are satisfied, we will take further action,” he said refusing to say anything more.
Kugan, 23, died at the lockup of USJ police station in Subang Jaya on 20 Jan.
The case was initially classified the case as sudden death but Attorney-General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail later told the police to re-classify it as murder for investigation purposes.
