IPOH, 9 Oct 2008: A bus passenger suffered a broken right arm when a trailer truck slammed into the back of the bus he was on which then crashed into a toll collection booth at the Ipoh Utara toll plaza near Jelapang early this morning.
Ipoh police district traffic chief DSP Mohd Rodzi Rejab said the injured man, Hisham Al Haj, 37, was treated at the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital here.
Mohd Rodzi said four other bus passengers had light injuries in the 3am accident as the express bus was headed south with 29 passengers.
He said the trailer slammed into the back of the bus as it stopped to pay toll.
Mohd Rodzi said the trailer driver was slightly injured. — Bernama
