KUALA LUMPUR, 14 Jan 2009: A group of former estate workers which are now occupying 98 quarters in Bukit Kiara will be offered low-cost houses either in Taman Muhibbah or Bukit Jalil.
Kuala Lumpur Mayor Datuk Ahmad Fuad Ismail said the area they were occupying now had been identified for a large-scale public park development as part of the efforts to make Bukit Kiara a green area in the city.
Speaking at a media briefing here, he said, some 3,000 units of low-cost houses were currently under construction and would be completed soon. — Bernama
