KUANTAN, 30 Dec 2008: The Pahang police have received the first report on the existence of a blog insulting the Prophet Muhammad.
State Criminal Investigation Department deputy chief Supt Mohd Haris Daud said the report was lodged on 27 Dec by Maran Umno Youth vice-chief Hairul Amin Othman at the Maran police headquarters at 3.45pm.
“We will investigate the matter,” he told reporters here today.
He said the investigation would be carried out under the Sedition Act. — Bernama
