Public can view EIA on water project
KUALA LUMPUR, 14 Jan 2009: The public can view the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and the Detailed Environmental Impact Assessment (DEIA) on the Pahang-Selangor raw water transfer project funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The Embassy of Japan said in a statement today the documents could be viewed during office hours between tomorrow and 14 July at the Embassy of Japan, No 11, Persiaran Stonor, Off Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur; the Embassy of Malaysia in Japan, 20-16, Nanpeidai-cho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.
The Department of Environment, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Level 2, Podium 3, Wisma Sumber Asli, No. 25, Persiaran Perdana, Putrajaya; and the Pahang-Selangor Raw Water Transfer Project office, Bangunan Prima Avenue 7, Level 2, Block 3510, Jalan Teknokrat 6, Cyberjaya.
