KUALA LUMPUR, 11 Feb 2009: Several roads in the city will be closed in phases for the fifth and seventh stage of Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) on 13 and 15 Feb.
A Kuala Lumpur traffic police statement said the closure on Friday from 9am-9.45am will affect roads leading to Kampung Sungai Penchala from the direction of Pencala Link and the Sprint Highway, Jalan Datuk Sulaiman, Jalan Tun Fuad and Jalan Damansara.
Jalan Kuching from the direction of Rawang until the Batu Caves roundabout will be closed from 10am-11am.
Roads that will be closed on 15 Feb starting 3pm are those around Dataran Merdeka including Jalan Hishamudin, Jalan Raja and Jalan Pasar Besar.
Other roads affected are Jalan Lebuh Ampang, Jalan Tun Perak, Jalan Raja Chulan, Jalan P Ramlee, Jalan Ampang and Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman.
All the roads will be reopened to traffic after the event ends. — Bernama
