KAJANG, 19 Jan 2009: Police shot dead three of five members of an armed robbery gang who were high on their wanted list, including for several rape and housebreaking cases, at the Kajang Silk highway, early this morning.
In the incident at about 2am, members of the gang of Indonesian nationals known as the ‘Ronald Gang’ and aged between 27 and 40, were shot dead after they opened fire at the police personnel upon realising that they were being followed.

However, police returned fire and shot dead three of the gang members, including their leader aged in his 40s.
Two others managed to escape, he said.
