PUTRAJAYA, 25 Sept 2008: Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak today confirmed that the Umno supreme council will hold a special meeting tomorrow.
“Yes, I believe there will be a special meeting tomorrow,” the deputy prime minister and Umno deputy president said when asked by reporters whether it was true that a supreme council meeting would be held tomorrow.
Normally the supreme council meeting is held at the Umno headquarters at Menara Dato Onn, Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) in Kuala Lumpur.
On his meeting with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi today, he said that as deputy prime minister he had meetings with Abdullah nearly every day, sometimes more than once.
Najib, however, declined to answer questions on politics, except to say that “political questions will be answered tomorrow.” — Bernama
