Zambry back to work

IPOH, 13 May 2009: Barisan Nasional (BN) Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir today clocked in for work after briefly vacating the menteri besar’s office on Monday.

Zambry, who arrived at 9.13am, was all smiles, stopping to speak to the press and pose for photographs.

Asked if he was the valid menteri besar of Perak, he said, “You shouldn’t ask me that now. You should leave the matter to the court.”

Zambry moved out on Monday evening after the Kuala Lumpur High Court declared Pakatan Rakyat (PR)’s Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin as Perak’s rightful menteri besar.

Nizar and the PR executive council (exco) members yesterday reported for work at the state secretariat building for the first time since the change in the Perak state administration.
